Inglourious Lolitas

Inglourious Lolitas

Tarantino meets Nabokov meets PKRK's Lolita Army

Premiere: May 2012, at the Theaterkapelle Berlin (1st production).

Wiederaufnahme: October 16, 2015 at the Ambulatorium Berlina

“I always have the same dream. I am cut off from my squad. The girl army of the Inglourious Lolitas has had to retreat, we have lost decisive battles against the terrible men of the Euro-Union. There are too many of them. I alone have stayed behind in a town in front of the front. I have retreated to the roof of a skyscraper, the topmost peak. Swallow’s nest is what we snipers call it. I am alone, with 1000 rounds of ammunition. 360 degree field of view. Union soldiers attack the city. They circle the skyscraper like bears. Big, heavy bears. They come lumbering down the street canyons towards me. I take aim. I am hunting. I am hunting bears.” (Lolita in “Inglourious Lolitas” by Simon Strick)

” When they tremble with fear, when they look into my eyes, when they understand that I will never give up, when they turn around, when they run away, run away from what I have become, what I have decided to become. Then: I’ll shoot them in the back.”

Lolita shoots the old man on the treadmill in the back. Again and again.

“The cold war is never over. The old man.”

She throws a hand kiss after it.

“The Cold. War. Never.”
